Exactly ... and it only took them 60 years or so to do what the others took 300 years to do ... ie; get a history and a tradition ... !!! :D :D

I laugh at this as i always remember doing my jumps course at Brize.

Canteen has several variety's of fresh juice with several meal choices including a Caribbean BBQ on 'the veranda' we were spoilt for choice. Then, when you are finished you place your tray onto a rotating carousel as they had a team to clear and clean dishes. This was the standard mess. i'd love to see what the NCO or officers mess looked like!!!

The JRM at RAF Aldergrove was so good, the SNCOs tried to keep sneaking in after repairs to their mess were complete. The food was so good at Kinloss was so good, I put on a stone over a fortnight.

At RAF Swinderby, steak was cooked to your preference whilst on guard duty.

You can see why I transferred!
