If you attend the Malvern Shows Steve should be at the next one.

Hi Ray,

We sell the early para version in stock, and have plenty available:

http://www.epicmilitaria.com/ww2-britis ... elmet.html

Ours are made just for us, so you won't really find these anywhere else. Has reproduction markings as well.

We also sell the helmet net for them too:

http://www.epicmilitaria.com/ww2-britis ... t-net.html

If you have any questions, drop an email to contact@epicmilitaria.com and one of us will sort it out for you.

Kind regards

Adrian

The "Early para version" helmet as described i.e. 1942 pattern should have a fibre rim.

Hi Luke, I thought the first pattern came with a hard rubber rim?.

I think you may have that confused with the fibre rim (1942 pattern with leather straps) - the fibre rim was removed on the 1943 pattern (sometimes seen with leather straps and later with webbing straps and chin cup). There is also a bruneval helmet, but that's just confusing matters even further
