Hi - I am wanting some info regarding a WW2 officers uniform, I see that the WW2 uniform could have been in either Doeskin or Barathea cloth is that correct? and if so why were there 2 choices?

Also I have seen a few differing colours - i.e. varying shades of navy Blue from a mid royal Blue to a midnight Blue - was this also the case in WW2 as the majority of colour photos I have seen from that period all seem to be a midnight Blue?

Lastly - is it possible to get the original WW2 officer uniform pattern to enable you to make an identical uniform of that period? (Jacket & trouser) - please don't suggest going to a maker as so far the ones I have contacted don't seem to know if their designs are period or not!

many thanks.
