We're sadly lacking in Cdo groups in this country but there are quite a few like-minded individuals who enjoy portraying either Army or RM Cdos.

yes there is ...

I primarily do a Army commando impression (usually No.2 commando or No.4).

WW2 in colour Living History Group now have a commando section and are keen recruit more commando re-enactors. They are based in the south (although there ae members of group based everywhere) and do the usual rounds of events and a few interesting ones during the season. If you are interested look at/contact them via their facebook page (WW2 in colour LHG) or website www.ww2incolour.org

Hope this helps

Good luck to you all

('we') The public attending the season's events could be forgiven for thinking the British army of WWII consisted almost entirely of paratroopers!!!!........Old paratroopers!!!!!

If that doesn't get me thrown of the forum.......

Update: I hope you found a group to get invloved with

On that note, if anyone else is considering getting involved in a Commando group, WW2 in colour Living History Group are still interested in recruiting more members for their commando section.

Although the group is based in the south, members are are based around the country. The group attend a range of long standing and new events including Chalke Valley, Denmead (Overlord), Military Odyssey, to name only few.

If look at/contact the group via their facebook page (WW2 in colour LHG) or website www.ww2incolour.org
