Hi all,
I'm like to put a infantry officers impression together for next year and I stumbled across this..
http://www.thehistorybunker.co.uk/acata ... hirts.html
Is it any good or is it rubbish.. I don't know I would maybe go with on the bad side but your opinions would be appreciated.
For the Motherland, for Stalin!

The pictures of some of the British kit look horrible.

What I thought but I don't know maybe hopeful thinking some of the Russian stuff could be up to scratch.
I particularly like their British paratroopers beret  It's more a grape purple than anything else.

Thanks guys. It does look pretty dodgy. Maybe the wholesale version of Epic Militaria then...
Any places in Britain which are good for Soviet stuff?

Schuster in Russia is far better, takes a bit of time for delivery, but its the best unless you can fit in original kit.

How does delivery compare though. Pricey?

not too bad, they will do fast orders if you contact them,
had a few things from Russia and other ex soviet states and the postage isn't too bad.
as always a group order will work out cheaper than individual.

History Bunker are terrible! Do not use them!

Schuster is the way forward, they know what they're doing (any questions with regards to kit is answered) and their gear is of high quality. Voenspec is also recommended comrade.

Whatever you do, steer well clear of Alex from Front of Russia. He puts the "cnut" into "THIEVING CNUT" !

Front of Russia, History Bunker and Hiki Shop are suppliers to stay well away from.

Just thinking about the material Hiki Shop use makes me shudder.
