William "Sam" Magee FSSF 6 -3 (Bronze Star, silver Star) is confirmed to be on our displays from August till September...

A REAL Forceman camping out wi us, chewing the fat, answering questions, giving presentations, having (a few) beers, and he might even get back up for a jitterbug (Katie, I'll be looking fer ye)....

Gusville Saloon at Lincolnsfield (Bushy Mills) and maybe Bazooka Bar...

Well we done it.....we got official recognition by the the men that did it,The FSSF veterens them selfs....well done Paul.

We'll be attending the glen miller event at twinwoods airfield over the bank holiday so come and say hey..

We will also be at The great Victory show 8th and 9th of september,please drop by and meet a REAL forceman and may be partake in some interesting training and i'll buy you A beer..[out of training hours ]

Keeping in the spirt of the FORCE,Rank and privlages get changed and distributed between the troopers..

Unit organiser is now Chris[forceman chris] for the forth coming season,Paul returned to the ranks for a well earned and diserved rest.

Next event on our calender is Christmas DO at the bazooka bar.

Well guys give yourselves a pat on the back ,we got through some bad times, had some good times(Gusville Saloon).We are on the verge of a New Year and time to think on what we are doing this coming year,we don't sit back and rest on our laurels.That was then, this is now ! This end we are heavily commited to Lincolnsfield Childrens Charity and we are doing a lot of developement and PR for the place.We have have a stong presence for their open days this December.There is a main event in April date to be confirmed.So lets get planning and making props,not much else to do in the Winter months.
Recruitment, by the nature of what we do will be slow, look at the other members of our group,definitly all strong indivuals with powerfull personalities,yes we have our differences and we get them sorted,but was n't that the way of the real FSSF. We do it different! Not all people can cope with this, but those who can are the ones we want.Those who can't, nothing wrong with them nice guys and all that ,propably do well in other groups,but they are just not Forcemen.As happened with the real FSSF many will fall by the wayside. We are not a clique ask any member,as we change our group leader every year there are no egos to keep polished or no a**es to kiss.You stand or fall on your own ability.The uniform ,the patch does n't mean a thing if there is no personality within.
We are never going to have people queueing up to join us, nor do we want it,quality is everything.
Our latest recruit Dave is exactly what I mean about quality and dedication and of course Ryan ,who was Sam's bodyguard at the Victory show. Two recruits in a year we must have the worst recruiting record in reenactment!!!! I'll settle for those two guys, they are my mates!

Numbers mean nothing but quality is everything fella. Always a pleasure to work and be with you guys especially when Mr. Magee is in town. Good luck for next year and keep up the good work with the Force.

Keep up the good work Gordon, but remember there is much interest in the Force within other groups. We certainly do not wish to step on others toes, especially yours, but expect a Force showing from our gang next year. Perhaps we can do something together.
