Anyone know if anyone in the UK supplies M1917 spares - Jez needs a new ejector? (Broken spring). Numrich have them but the shipping fee seems expensive, I'd convert it to have a coil spring but it's Jez's rifle, he doesn't seem to keen on that....

Jez ordered a P14 spare in the end, all that was in this country and he didn't want to import as there was a $30 charge for overseas shipping to start with. P14 spare didn't work, modified it, still didn't work. So I took the bust ejector, and working from a phot of the pen spring type replacements, ground the remains of the old leaf spring off, ground 2 slots in it (with one of those super thin slitting disks) and put a coil spring on it that I had in a random jar of small springs. Seems to work a treat, so far.....

If you import from the states you will also import the cops through your front door as they are hot on gun parts coming from there, even for small parts like ejectors etc. Be warned Its happened to people in the past.
