Da! this is not in Order and for Genossen everything must be in Order, unauthorised use of DDR State Property is under KOMSTITCH  responsibilities as it is a fraternal State to the Soviet Union.

I love to see all of the equipment looking new, as it would have done once - mostly basic training. I suppose that by the time you arrived at the front it would be more worn in.

My own personal suggestion is that the trousers should have ties that go under the feet. If you use them then it will pull the trousers down a bit and they won't bunch over the boots. But great repro kit - you could hardly get any of it years ago, now it's all remade. Fantastico!

Here are some photos (from my photoalbun FaceBook) in DAK uniform standard. I haven't used the classic german tropical highboots. I used the NVA boots of Heer !

The wood fibre waterbottle is almost certainly wrong for most of the DAK period of action.
They are all dated and trying to find a dated one that fits the period is very hard. Most have 1943 dates.
You might just squeeze one into the last days in Tunisia but it would be a rare beast indeed.
Fine for Italy and the warmer parts of other campaigns.
I dont think they were a great success? With the woolen cover you could wet it and get some cooling by evaporation.

Genosse, The NVA was not a Heer it was a LaSK as it was purely defensive in nature….. Some sun bleaching and washing is tainted water will do your scale of issue a power of good.

Is that a webbing e-tool cover?
They didnt exist.
Tan zeltbahns were not DAK issue either. Use the splinter pattern ones.
