Hello Gents

Me and my granddad are going to build a northover projector over the winter and we saw by searching this forum that there's alot of decent info in the first issue at Britain at war magazine does anyone have it and could scan it for me? Were also looking for the working drawings we've found plenty of info but no dimensions, Ive sent a couple of Pm's to people who say they have them but as yet to no avail?

PS does anyone know where to get the correct shaped bottles for the SIP grenade?

There are a couple on the circuit James, there's a chap on FB who I'll point in this direction.

Be very careful about loaning original items...also, please keep an eye out for :
*Still missing* Because some folks are devoid of an ounce of honesty or integrity.
Women's Navy Great Coat
Green floor length 1930s evening dress with sleeves set on net.
Blue and white rayon dress with peplum
Black velvet halter necked dress with silver shot thread skirt (may still have Harrods label in it) I have photos of all of these items and I know where they are in Scunthorpe, but would appreciate a nod if they come up for sale. [/color]

Cannot vouch for the item or the vendor... but you should find a repro drill grenade here about half way down...

Hope this helps

Oops. I made a couple using old half pint acid bottles from work. I had to grind the top rim off so I could fit crimped beer bottle lid. I filled them with resin but got the mix wrong so they turned red but the shapes good.
These are very similarhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Glass-lab-reagent-bottle-narrow-mouth-250-ml-8-oz-/200695223033?pt=UK_BOI_Medical_Lab_Equipment_Lab_Supplies_ET&hash=item2eba5e12f9
You'd need to cut the neck or grind the top to allow a crimped lid to be fitted. They're the closest I've found, my old ones are just less than 2.5" diameter but that might not be the case with these.

Wondering if you guys can help.

I’m trying to find out what the loading and firing drill for a Northover would be. So what would the commands be, what are the positions of the three man crew, what does each man do etc.

According to wiki that information might be in Military Training Manual No 42, Amendment No. 1, Appendix F. but so far I’m having no luck in tracking one of those down.

Whilst I’ll keep looking I though I would take the chance and ask if anyone on here has the information they would be willing to share.
