If a Glider pilot flying a DS230 lands and fight with Fallscrimjaeger on a regular basis, spending days in the combat zone, what waffenfarbe does he wear is he Pilot or Para.

Regards

Ian

Hi, I have a small question, did Luftwaffe glider pilots wear any kind of flying suit (overall, helmet)? or fallschirmjager smock?
thanks

I did a little research and I found out that glider pilots were virtually indistinguishable from glider/paratroops. They even fought along the troops one on the ground. I found some pictures of glider pilots wearing summer flight suits and parachute (paratrooper style) harness, but it probably war during training.
I am answering my own question, but I hope someone will find this fact interesting!

Probably a FJ with pilot traing rather than a pilot with FJ training. If it that makes it much clearer :p
