Hi,

As nice as it would be to get a proper MKI mag for my MK1 Bren, I can’t get very excited about the normal market price and I’m working on the assumption I probably won’t bump into a bargain.

I do however have a mag made from a MKII* body and a sans dimples MKI top-plate. Am I right in thinking that if I find a mag with a MKI* body, I could put the two together and be most of the way to a MKI mag?

So do you identify a converted MKI mag by the ‘MKI*’ marking, or are there other differences?

Thanks,
Mark
