Grenade, Hand, Fragmentation, Mk II :
. This type of Hand Grenade originated in WWI (August 1918)
It was further used during WWII, be it with subsequent modifications . Various models of ’Mk II Defensive Hand Grenades’ were used, with different types of fuzes and fillers

WW2 Mk2 grenade. Notice how the top of the leaver folds over and the notch that protrudes near the base of the fuze just to the left of the pull ring.

Rangercamp if you could produce the ww2 fuze top then they would sell like hotcakes. If you really want to make some money then why don't you manufacture the cardboard bazooka tubes with pressed steel end caps that hold the bazooka round, people are crying out for these, you could also make the rounds as well a other tubes for the 60mm mortar or the British two inch mortar carrying tubes the early type.

To be fair, it's not that bad. Sure, it needs work, but it's a damn site better than the training 'nades n spoons most people carry. Get the fuse, spoon, and colour sorted, and your onto a winner...

hey rangercamp, if you could maybe get your hands on an original grenade you could mould the it and then make some some pretty decent copys, at least they would have the features of an origional grenade, not saying that thers anything wrong with the one you have mate, they are alot better than some ive seen :?

dont ask to borrow mine tho mate lol, ive already had a random member of this forum ask me to send mine to them so they could cast it LOL yea right! must have thought i was born yesterday :D haha i was like erm no

Ranger Phil

I contacted you on another thread regarding M4 grenades. So I feel I may be that "random member "
I'm sorry if you feel I was trying to take advantage of you somehow. I assure you that was not the case.
I was genuinely trying to help.
I do a lot of casting of brit grenades and though I could help you make a decent replica which in turn would have helped others.
I know nothing of American grenades and had no idea authentic American grenades were so hard to come by.
In future I will know better.

Regards

KarlUK
