Attention collectors! if you have interst in the WWII C-1 survival vest, please take a look at the new C-1 Vest Collectors Site! Here you will find tons of information, and pictures of the items that were included in the vest! Cheers! Michael Minovich

Impressive collection! I have one of these vests, picked it up a couple of years ago - before I knew the price of some of the stuff to go in it! Nice to have detailed photos, rather than just going off black and white information leaflets.

Will keep an eye open for stuff to go in mine!

Thanks for posting!

Fantastic, thanks for that squark.

Makes things infinitely easier having colour photos to work off, rather than trying to work out what is what from uncaptioned black and white photos.

Cheers! :D

Pip this guy really knows his C-1 stuff......My father has brought some C-1 vest items from him.

He has a near complete C-1 vest in his collection with only the Correct First Aid Kit/ Gloves/Oiler and ONE parachute ration tin needed to complete the entire vest.

Man is it HEAVY...:-)

Regards

Lloyd

Where can inert/dummy hand flares for the C-1 be found? If at all?

Now i know what the wound tablets i have are for. They are in a small plastic vial with a screw lid and made by the Burke Supply company.
