Have used the search function but don’t seem to be able to get a match but that’s probably more to do with me that the system.

I am looking for information on the rank system or hierarchy in the WLA. Common sense would seem to indicate that there must have been a system of forewomen at least, and one book I have got mentions area supervisors but not much more than that.

So I am assuming some form of county and regional organization must have existed, but I can’t find any online information which sets out what those grades are or what they were called. More importantly I want to know if they had any sort of visible rank, say to be worn on the armbands, to identify who they were.

Any help would be most appreciated chaps.
