Post subject:  NAAFI vases

Hi, can anyone tell me about these vases that I have just acquired? I have not seen them around much, apart from on a website of a museum. Are they common? valuable? Were they given as gifts to the Naafi workers?

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Simon

Despite being Kings crown, the info I have been given is that they were produced in the 60s.
I almost bought a couple but having contacted NAAFI that is the reply that they gave me.
Nice though and I don't think it matters really!

Just spoke to the girlfriend, and on the bottom of the vases it is printed Lovatts Langleyware. Now Lovatts were taken over in the fifties by Denby and pieces after that were marked 'Lovatts Denby' Which suggests that the vases are earlier than the 60's?

But then again some other Lovatts bits we have are marked with a wartime date!?

Very confusing! :?

I have just looked onto a Lovatts website about the history and they were the largest manufacturer during WW2. They produced a lot of giftware during the war as well as the practical stuff and were bought out by Denby in 1959 and only produced items stamped Lovatts Denby after this time. So I think that they are before the 60's. Will try to contact them and find out more information
