Have just acquired an original SOE Silk Cipher Scarf - These were issued to SOE radio operators amongst others... info about them in Leo Marks "Silk and Cyanide"... there are a couple of holes in it - text is English.

Does anyone have one of these in good complete condition please who'd be able to let me have photos of the bits I have missing in mine so I can work out what text isnt there!

Cheers

Tim

Found some pics online which are sufficient to fill out the gaps... so have what I need.

From what I can see on line, these appear to be quite rare, so was wondering if there was any call for reproductions?

Is this the sort of thing any of the SOE/SAS/Jedburgh reenactors would be interested in - estimated cost would be £30.

Actual dimensions @ 50cm square.

Cheers

Tim

Will pop your name on the list - need a few more interested before this gets off the ground.

Cheers

Hi,

if there is still a possibility to get one, I'd be interested too, and maybe some friends of mine would.

Cheers
Pierre

Edit: I can get some good pictures of an original one if need be.
