The Jedburgh spade carrier was designed to fit the same collapsable spade that fit inside the SOE Jumpsuit.

It was designed with a large front pocket to accomodate the spade and a cylindrical pocket down the rear for the spade handle.
The carrier was attached to the wearer by a vertical strap and fitting similar to the long drop tankers holster, with a lower lateral strap to wrap around the thigh, securing it in place.

Out of interest - do you mark these up as 'repro' - ie a big FO ink stamp that says 'REPRODUCTION'?

Regards

I usually sign everything I make in a descret place.
Thats my maker mark.

I sell nothing with the intention to deceive,I never claim my items are nothing other than reproduction, if they are, and I am aware of the question of who will know in 20 years time whats right or wrong but I am small fry compared to the big manufacturers.

If the problem is the fact that my repros look real then I take that as a compliment.
Thanks for your interest.
Frank
