IWM sell a book that pretty much covers most of the training tasks etc...pretty much a reprint.

Will dig my copy out for the name.

Good morning , any one wishing to learn more about the wartime role of the SOE wil find a very rewarding if often frustrating subject to study , there are many books covering the subject including a large number wrote by former members , get your self a copy of one of the several ` general` histories avalable and in the back are listed loads of book titles and their authors from where the main source text has come from .There is no `official` archive of SOE records as all there files were destroyed in a mysterious fire ?? at the wars end , also there was an SOE history imformation / inquiry office in Whitehall /London , there to help research , letters , from students authors etc , this was still in operation a few years back , if you do contact them asking for any help ,make sure your clear and give direct questions in your letter ( not a general enquiry ) but dont be surprised if 8 out of 10 letters are met with a " sorry , we do not have any details covering your request " etc ! regards Pugwash
