Hi all,

Found this picture amoungst some of my nans items. Was interested as she never served overseas. So my thoughts are that this photo was from an "Ex-Boyfriend" who served overseas. Would like to know what type of aircraft is in the photo as is the original the bloke at point is wearing a Slouch Hat. And Point A i think shows a Japenese Rising Sun on the side of an aircraft. Will get a clearer photo once i am back at work and can use the scanner. My thoughts are it is taken in some sort of Far East Japanese aircraft scrape yard or destroyed airfield???

Thoughts?

Also on the back of the photo it reads "Pranged Mos 1947"... But the aircraft in the photo really, to me, doesnt look like a Mossie...
