Just spotted that Zib Militaria has started doing Japanese kit:

yeah the stuff does look to be from the same maker as the SOF kit, most of it is pretty naff if im honest. The helmet doesn't look too bad though, hard to tell the quality of the leather work from the photos but the pattern is good. I would still go for the hiki helmet purely because i've seen them up close so know the quality of them but the zib one looks good enough
