Wow!, that's the best video of that type I've seen, the tank was in fantastic condition and those guys worked damn hard to retrieve it.

It amazes me how a lot of it was still functional, tracks turning, turret turning, what looked like the breech working etc etc.

A lot of that is down to the conditions in the swamp. The water has an extremely low oxygen content so no rust.

That group have a vid of a Stug pulled from the same place by the looks of it that is much the same once it's hosed down - looks like it went in the day before...

And here it is - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0gopUsvzDc

Are there any follow up videos of the tank being worked on/fired up?

Not those particular ones as far as I can see. The trouble with that sort of hardware in Russia is it all belongs to the Government when you dig it up.

The group website is here www.aregard.com there are some photos and vids of other restoration projects.

A few peasants made a windfall, then the Duma passed a law making any military equipment found on(or in) Russia soil a State item.
There's a whole area in what was East Prussia, now part of the Russian enclave where German positions and weapons lie undisturbed, but exposed to the elements.
