Can anyone shed some light on this please .. a friend has found it in a house ... yes really ... they asked me about it but I'm not up on such things, think it may be a headquarters unit rather than field one ??

Any information gratefully received so I can pass on, also wondering at the possible value .. don't not if its working or not, they have just passed the picture to me as I volunteered to post and ask.

I can pass on details of the owners too if anyone is interested.

Hi again Lloyd ... Ok he sent me a mail with pictures but not as attachments and I cant get them as individual pics .... the tag reads ...

top line .... SIGNAL CORPS
middle line .... SWITCHBOARD BD-91-C
bottom line ... 10490 - PHILA - 44

There is also a pic of a circuit diagram, and also a note that reads ...

'This unit was treated for moisture and fungus resistance on Nov 1944'

Think this is a wartime piece, I will ask Martin if he can send pics as attachment so I can post for you, hope it helps
