Need your help.
Just found worn pair of Black "Ammo" boots from dealer, size 11.
No toe caps but fronts are quite Square, not like the Navy or RAF rounded type.

However, still have Heel plates & early type toe plates.
Under the toe plates, 1 row of large type hob nails.
Soles are worn.

No WD arrows anywhere but inside, stamped on the insole is :
"A66"
"11" (Size)
"H/M3"

Hav'nt been cleaned yet .

Any ideas??
Cheers
Steve

Hard to identify without the WD arrows etc. they are sometimes stamped in the uppers by the eyelets so worth checking there too. Would be interesting to see photos.

Slightly square toe and no toe cap? Sound like '03pattern(?) Navy deck boots. I got married in a pair of them.

Thanks.
Just attached a few pics.
Still can't find any markings except on the in sole.

Collector mate has suggested they could be Royal Marine issue?
Cheers

Have been told that the boots are probably Royal MARINE issue.
Can't find any info on RM boots, bar from the Commando type soles.
Can anyone assist?
Cheers.
