has anyone got a decent photo of a British Army mills bomb box,the long wooden type please?plus dimensions/measurements ect?
EDIT-just seen photo on the weapons thread,D'oh!but would still like dimensions please...

Any idea of what wood type was used, pine, cedar, birch or whatever :?: Is the Sgtmoon plan the same one as the crate previously pictured & if so what are the measurements for the internal wood dividers (also the distance between them) same for the wood blocks in the end sections (measurements & distances). Is the central section for the storage of the fuses :?:

One of the lads from the Border Regt (Andy I think) was making them - Bordergaz could probably put you in touch with him.

well this is all i have for the inside of the box sorry !also a copy of what gos on it, and plan for WW1 303 ammo box may be of use to HG type's . i also have the plans for a WWII COMPO box if youd like
