Thanks for the PM Phil, made for some interesting reading. This will need some serious looking into. A whole new angle on some old theories.

Chris behave yourself or we'll have to send for Bicycle Repairman!

"I don't use the pozi net ,because there are too many left wing oversensitive retards on there..."

"I reflect on the infamous 1987 photograph by American artist Andres Serrano that depicts a crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist's urine. I remember all the leftists that jeered and mocked me, and many Christians like me, for being bruised by that photograph (the title of which I would rather not verbalize). They scoffed and told us to get a life. These are the same people today, unsurprisingly, who are stridently arguing for curtailment of free speech not to offend Muslims."

Subject of Phil's email.
101 would be a great possibility but if you dress as an accurate impression you would certainly be put in the FARB catergory 'By those who know all about WW2' This was what the Green Beanies decended from not the FSSF. These guy wrote the Hearts and Minds handbook. How to organise indiginous people into effective fighting units,Clandestine operations, assasination and sabotage.
The FSSF was n't trained for this nor was it in thier operating proceedure, they were first class shock toops capable of fighting in mountain/Artic conditions, seaborne assualt or Parachute operations.Even operation Plough did n't include setting up an army behind enemy lines. The Force were first class soldiers,Commandos, whatever. Not politically motivated specialists with thier sights set on influence after hostilities. Di Oppresso Libre!

I agree wi ye Gordon, and it wasn't, as ye know, the 101, it was Yardborough of the 82nd....Probably influenced by the OSS and SOE activities in the Balkans....

Sorry Paul. Should have made it clear. Not the Pukin' Buzzards! Detatchment 101 was a OSS unit with an operation zone unbelievable for its size Northern Burma and South West China. To those who need a Movie to relate to history.Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen None but the Brave (I'm not sure of the title but something like that).Strangely in many cases the truth is usually much better than the Movie.
