Nicely made bomb, I thought that they had lifting eyes on the bomb.

Hi Chaps,

Just out of interested (well - in all honesty because i'd like to mock up one myself...!) What are the rough dimensions of the SC50? i.e overall length - diameter of the 'cylinder' section and so on?

Would be interested to know so I can think about creating something similar - though not as nice as yours!

Cheers

Old thread revival!! This is exactly what i want to make. I've been given permission by the wife to make a water feature in the garden featuring a UXB and pond! Sounds crap but my vision is a London cobble street, broken water pipe and a hole/pond!!

Could you help me out a little?
How did you make your bomb? What is the length of the tail fins?
I went to the link but it doesn't give you enough dimensions. Cheers in advance!

Some of the technical manuals show great detail even the ogive which is the shape of the nose but if your bomb is going to be buried then you only need body and tail. You need to look on eBay as someone was selling such manuals there.

Yes thats right guys, the front of the bomb will be buried in the rockery so I only need to make the body and tail. The OP's looks fantastic so I was hoping he could tell me where he got his dimensions from.

Ive googled the life out of SC50 and it mostly only comes up with SC250 which is too big.

If anyone has any dimensions I'd be eternally grateful. Or even point me in the right direction.

Cheers!

Will do. I'll probably start a thread elsewhere with my progress!
