Here's yet another stupid question about Dutch kit (I've got loads more): What was the method for storing the handles to the mess tins? When attached to the lid, they do not lie down flat enough to fit in the carriers. If stored inside the mess tins, they rattle around like a gas alarm. Do they just go into the bread bag with their cutlery? I have to admit, the design of these things has me stumped - not that this is particularly difficult. :?
