In all the excitement of our non exit, who missed the requirement to register deacts?
Who has read the new law and has some understanding of it?

It's only current Eu specs that need to be registered.

Which are what exactly ? Seems totally arse about face, to want the 'newest/safest' registered first. Can see that getting full compliance

Hopefully, the Knut that came up with the Enabling phrase 'defectively deactivated', gets their P45 nice n early in the New Year, before they have time to transfer on, to another lucrative 'consultancy'.

Isnt this actually EU legislation and not a UK Bill, with Brexit on the horizon and a somewhat committed event, will these new laws actually be pertinent to the UK still after Brexit, will a post Brexit Govt still abide by that legislation. Another thought occurs, how can an EU de-act cert be issued or enforced in an non EU country ..??

As this already is law, after Brexit it will remain the law unless it is actively changed or retracted and the chance of that is about nil.

Aux contraire, as with the 2016 Bill, incomplete or in this case non existent Cost to Business Impact Assessments were done, and not by the Cabinet Office, but 'in house'. This has come about, not through government guiding policy or instructing officials, but by an out of control, off piste Dum Oblast, wasting resources, time and money, on anything the EU tell them to, instead of soaring knife crime and anti social lawlessness. This will not continue, as the days of dumb/naive Home Secretaries , are drawing rapidlyto a close. Which means clearout time, for unaccountable EU-obsessed departments/bunkers. Merry Christmas.
