I've seen some, but who of you does a Foreign volunteer impression or is acctually working (buying, collecting, sewing, scratch building, etc...) on one or more?
You may post a picture if you have one or more.

You can perhaps also write what you have or what you are looking for as some badges are almost impossible to find. Sometimes there are no other ways then to build the insignia yourself and then you may also post some pictures of your handywork. It may inspire others. Buying can everyone building is the trick.

Hello Dutalis,

These are a few pictures of my French WSS impression. This is very much a work in progress.

Below is my Waffen-Unterscharfuhrer M43 tunic for a member of the 33rd Sturm-Pionere Kompanie der Waffen-Grenadier Division der SS "Charlemagne".
This is based on the post Pomerania/Battle for Berlin period for a veteran of the SS-Sturmbrigade in Galicia who has fought through Galicia, Pomerania and has been selected to accompany Brigaf. Kruckenburg into the Berlin.

The two tank destruction badges have been earnt in pomerania, along with the EK2 ribbon and the General assault badge for the many engagements in these campaigns. The two ribbons above the pocket are french Vichy awards. The left hand is the 'Croix de Guerre' (Vichy) earnt for fighting against the Germans in 1940. The right hand is the 'Croix de Combattant 1940' (Vichy) for taking part in the defence of France in 39-40.
The cufftitle is the correct BeVo pattern issued in very limited quantities to the Pioneer company durng their return to the division camp after training at SS-Pionere Schule Hradishko.
The collar tresse is the late war mouse grey issue and the shoulder boards have black piping of the pionere's.
The arm shield is the standard SS RZM issue pattern.

Below is one of my favorite reenacting pictures - taken at the TFH 'Berlin' photoshoot 2006 - the first outing of my french kit.

I have a basic SS "Schutze" impression for "Nordland".....would be good to do another Berlin 1945 shoot with the remnants of depleted and destroyed divisions fighting to escape or for Fuhrer and Fatherland

allways a cracking shot that Cookie...

Regards

Lloyd

I should have my "Norge" impression completed by end of September, and like cookie says its just a case of waiting to bring it out.

Such a shame as i think a Berlin 45 looks very different.

I've sold my Unterscharfuehrer jacket becouse I didn't feel right with that rank. Becouse I hold an other rank in my unit so I'm going to make an other Langemarck uniform together with the proper rank: Oberschuetze.

At the Victory show I wanted to wear also a Flemish NSKK, but as we all know the show was canceled :?

Definately next year then!

There is a great photo of a couple of Sikhs in feldgrau on the Normandy defences, complete with turbans and beards. Neat.
