Can somebody help me with answer - which MP unit secured Spanhoe Airfield (USAAF Station 493) before operations D-Day and Market-Garden ? Did it 82nd Airborne Military Police Platoon or maybe some other ?

And another question - for DDay period I supose that they wear M41 jackets with MP armband, wool or HBT trousers and leggings. What kind of uniform did MPs wear before Operation Market-Garden ? They got same M-43 uniforms as paratroopers or still had "early war" sorts (M41, M37 etc)?

It would be look after Ninth Air Force MPs and early war uniform.

Watch first episode when Damian Lewis(Major Dick Winters) come out of the cinema tent in the background the MP is walking look at uniform.

In America they have to start with 101.
The first class in any subject is 101.
As they learn they move on.
