Evening all!

I've just got a couple of questions on MP webbing. In my group I portray an sergeant 8Th infantry divisional MP. I carry an M3 grease gun and a M1917 revolver. Did the MP's ever wear the suspenders straps and haversack with that kind of set up? Obviously I wear the pistol belt not the ammo belt.

Secondly? Where can I get the p37 white British style webbing. I was told its not available in white by default so it was painted white? I've found a few belts but I can't find the cross strap, strap adaptor and holster adaptor anywhere.

You help would be appreciated

Cheers

Ryan

Hi Hadyn,

Thanks for the offer mate but the MP's didn't carry bayonets with their gear.

The '37 pattern cross strap is available from many sources. They are often on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/37-Pattern-Br ... 2579623bc0 or you can go to a dealer. Soldier of Fortune have them http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/SearchResu ... ss%20strap and to answer you second question SoF will have the repro white blanco you need. http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/liquid-bla ... uct,9783,1 Training shoe whitener works just as well.
There is a thread about it here;

I think you will need two of these 'attachment,brace' adapters to fix the cross strap to your belt. http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/1937-brace ... uct,1310,1
Other dealers can provide all you need, Soldier of Fortune just make it easy to show you what you need.

Have a full set of british mp webbing if you're interested? Belt, x-strap, holster, ammo pouch and gaiters/anklets (size2 if I remember), all in white. Pm me if you're interested
