Has anyone got any pics of ww2 personal effects bags, or know any differences between ww2 types and post war?

Cheers,

Jon

Jon, I assume you mean the Patient's Effects Bag? Here's a photograph of a WW2 version. As you'll see the material is almost a khaki shade, whereas post-WW2 versions tend to be a dark OD (7). Also, post-war ones have the Caduceus emblem flanked by the "US" lettering, which was approved in 1947.

I hope this helps!
Ben.
