For my 1st inf Div MP impression, I've got a helmet with a yellow ring round it, BUT,
I'm aware there were different colours used, e.g. white.

could anyone tell me what the colours signify?

Also I'm looking at putting 1st Inf DIV markings on my jeep bumper, what would be the markings for Mil Police?

Yellow - Divisional
Blue - some airborne divisions
White - companies
Double red and white band - battalion

(this info was found in a few helmet books, correct me if I am wrong).
