I'm reading this one at present and am not over impressed so far, though I must admit that I haven't got to the bit about Arnhem yet.

Has anyone else here read it? What was your verdict?

Cheers
Joe

I read it, thought it was as dull as dishwater.

Gave the author a second crack and read his " we fought at Dunkirk"
Equally as bad, his writing just does not flow.

Best book i've read on Arnhem in a long while was John Nichol's Arnhem, the battle for survival.

Cracking read, written by yes that John Nicholl, the Tornado navigator taken prisoner in the Gulf war 1991.

Good book.

One of the greatest secrets of WWII has been revealed in this book.

Frankly I'm shocked that they managed to keep it quiet so long. Does anyone know if they fought on our side or the Germans? :?

That's a corker!

I left a poor review on Amazon and the Author responded and said it was meant to be a general overview and not all readers would have the knowledge base that I have. They certainly don't after reading this book!
