Indeed Martin. I think this is what I'm trying to say. I imagine it is private purchase as the house owners would be upper - middle class as so could afford something like this. TBH the Anderson shelter looks pretty dodgy but it turned out to be effective for what it was. However could it be the same with this one. Bearing in mind it's in a sheltered position as well. Admittedly it is a rubbish design because it has no 2nd escape tunnel but it's better than nothing. It also looks slightly more fit for purpose than something like a Morrison shelter. I would put trust in it as it looks like it could save you although it probably wouldn't. Larder or bomb shelter.... that is the question. Matt
