I want to portray a wartime civilian. I'd rather spend the money and get it right, going with the old adage 'buy cheap, buy twice'.

Would this shirt be suitable?

And these trousers

Ebay number: (dont know how to paste the link for ebay!) 321157364489

Obviously the trousers would never to be wool or natural and not polyester!

Then a tank top from Fair isle!

Cheers people!

I can recommend Hanna at http://www.fortiessimo.co.uk

She makes trousers to period patterns to your own sizes for the comparable prices as those trousers on eBay. Also does a mean line in pullovers.

Can't recommend the her highly enough.

Regards

Neil

Darcy shirts, whilst nice, aren't the most authentic really. I personally have found the Angels ones to be more accurate recreations, though availability can be difficuly

BRITISH OFFICER: Cool. There any kinda zombie curse or anything we should know about? I mean, I want to pillage'em, but I don't want to cause no problems.
NATIVE: Our people lie merely asleep in their graves, waiting to shriek forth and bring agonising death to any who would dare disturb their peace.

The collar is constructed like those on a modern shirt, and the rear part of the collar goes too high up the neck, and the collar shape lacks the distinct curve towards the points.
