Thanks Stephane for posting here link to our website. It`s now still under construction and still only in Polish, but I do hope that this will change.
As to questions about 1st Polish Armoured uniforms, please feel free to ask, I`ll do my best to help!

Even by War's end, not everyone had the black epaulet. I have an original blouse to the 2nd Motorised artillery and that doesn't have one. I believe the practice started with the armoured regiments only and then spread to the rest of the Division. You can see from the photos of the Division that even by war's end, a significant number hadn't done the black epaulet.

It really depends on the unit and time frame one wants to portray. If it's Dragoons (Motorized Infantry) then yes.
If you want to portray one of the units in the 3rd Infantry Brigade esp around the Normandy battle then no, they seem only to start adding them late in the War.

I portray the Highland Battalion (Batalion Strzelcow Podhalanskich) of the 3rd Brigade from around the Battle of Falaise Gap August 1944 and I don't have the black epaulette.
