Wel this will be the Polish sections' first sticky thread! I have been asked for details of companies who can supply Polish army uniforms and equipment and, as there are not that many, this will not take me long to write!

OK - in no particular order -

Schipperfabrik
http://www.schipperfabrik.com/ They are based in the US. If you click on the link for 1939-1940 products, you will find that they can do Polish greatcoats, Wzor 36 Tunic and trousers in wool, as well as breadbags, rifle slings and collar patches. I do not know of the quality of the uniforms, but they have a very good reputation amongst the WW1 re-enactors who have bought their products. As well as this, their WW1 German Mauser amunition pouches are useable, if not strictly correct, and I believe that the German shirts are OK too.

Armia Militaria
http://www.armiam.com/ Also based in the US, they show that they can supply wz 36 woolen tunic and trousers, as well as Rogatywkas. Their Drelich cotton uniforms are not quite correct however, and the leggings shown with these should actually be puttees. The water bottle holders were not used by front line troops either, but the rest of their items are good! Mikolaj who runs the website can be a little slow responding to e-mails though. He also does sometimes sell refurbished wz 31 helmets, so keep an eye out for them. They are not cheap, but he has a good reputation too for his helmets.

Repliki http://www.repliki.com/ are based in Poland (and their website is in English - click on the Union flag on the right!) I have not dealt with this company myself, but they are held in very high regard by the reenactors in Poland, and I understand that they are of the highest quality.

Civil War Boots http://www.civilwarboots.com/ Another US based company! They make replica boots from the 18th century, through the American Civil War and up to WW2. Their WW1 German boots would be OK for the Polish army, but a group of us have been in discussion with them to get a replica of the Polish army wz 1931 boot made. They are working on them at the moment and I will keep people advised as soon as I have any further news on these!

Well, that is all that I know of for now - anyone know of any others? With the small but growing interest in the Polish army of 1939, all contacts will be gratefully received!

Oh yes - I have not forgotten Hero Collection in Poznan, but their website does not actually show anything that they sell, and they are best contacted through personal recommendation!

I would like to add one more uniform supplier from Poland, company called LANCIER. Below is link to his web page:

http://www.lancier.neostrada.pl/index.html

I have my wz.36 tunic, straight leg pants, short puttees, rogatywka cap and wz.36 infantry style greatcoat from this supplier. Quality of his product is very good and prices are reasonable. I can not really comment on his consumer service, as I never dealt with him directly only trough my contacts in Poland. However, he has rather good reputation among Polish reenactors so I wouldn’t be afraid with sending him your money.

He also offers wz.1919 uniform sets (britches pants, tunic, side cap and greatcoat) for those of you who would like to get the second most common uniform used in disastrous campaign of 1939.

Hi bjathome!

Not too sure on that personally - my interest is mostly the September 1939 campaign, and that looks like an officer's jacket from the 1944 period. It looks like a jacket from the 10th Armoured division fighting with the British in Normandy? (Although I am willing to be proved wrong - as I said it isn't my speciality!) However, I know that there are members who specialise in this period and unit and I am sure will be able to let you know what you need!
