Sorry - not even remotely similar.

After spending money on getting such a nice original pryazhka why would you want to go and Pokemon out on the rest of the gear?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Navy-Uniform- ... 5667wt_905

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-Boot- ... 4409wt_905

http://cgi.ebay.com/Soviet-Russian-Navy ... 500wt_1314

http://cgi.ebay.com/RUSSIAN-NAVY-COLLAR ... 500wt_1156

http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Soviet-NAVY-Butto ... 271wt_1110

http://cgi.ebay.com/WW2-Russian-Maxim-M ... 500wt_1127

And after all those, it becomes a bit... more difficult, because like the pryazhka, the post war bushlat and beskozuyrka are different to the wartime obrazyets, and yes, the difference is really noticeable.

Yes, Bundesmarine naval uniform is not correct, but as my comrade shows you, the jumper, scarf and trousers is easy to get still.

The pea jacket (bushlat) is harder, the wartime style is really quite different. If you want a winter jacket, get a naval shinel (greatcoat) as the 80's ones are a much better substitute than the bushlat is.

I saw a dealer at W&P selling repro wartime style donald ducks btw... not bad... better than using a modern one!

Here's a link for the shinel

Yes - the post war beskozuyrka are just for WPFG use. No good for GPW.

On that matter what fleet would you like to portray?

Northern Fleet
Red-Banner Baltic Fleet
Black Sea Fleet
Pacific Fleet
Caspian Flotilla
Amur Military Flotilla

Oh and while talking about the beskozuyrka (donald duck), as well as looking for a wartime stylee (which might be either a 1950's one or a repro) watch out for the tally's on them - either repro or 50's can have the postwar fleet names on them - most of the fleets received Order of the Red Banner either during the GPW or afterwards - for example, the Baltic Fleet received it once in 1928 and again in 1965. Tallys for this fleet will say "Red Banner Baltic Fleet" (Краснознамённый Балтийский флот) not "Twice Red Banner Baltic Fleet" (Дважды Краснознамённый Балтийский флот)

A minor detail that escapes many who don't understand whats written on their hats :)

Oh and Comrade, you missed the river flotillas from your list ;-)

Danube Flotilla
Prut Flotilla
Narva Flotilla
Dvina Flotilla
Bug Flotilla
Batum Flotilla
Araks Flotilla
Atrek Flotilla
Amur Flotilla

Hard to find those tallies, but if I could, I'd go for a Danube one - Urrah!!! (see the book "Commandos from the Sea")

Indeed, indeed Tovarich - those are not just rivers as in the West, those are extra 'kin HUGE tracts of water.

When the Soviets entered Germany, they were spectacularly underwhelmed by the rivers there, regarding them as little brooks and streams in comparison with the ones back home.

And one more flotilla - Волжская военная флотилия - Volzhskaya Voyennaya Flotiliya - Volga Military Flotilla.
