How does this sound for a late war red army airborne;

1. pilotka

2. M43 shirt without pockets

3. M43 breeches

4. Low boots with leg wraps

5. M44 carbine

What do you think?
Christian

I think long boots would be better for Airborne. I can't find any pictures of them in low boots in any of my books, but I suppose I may be wrong.
Don't forget that your shoulder boards will be field drab edged light blue, not raspberry.
Go with an PPSh-41 rather than a carbine. The table of equipment for late war paras has a squad composed of seven men with SMGs and one with a DP LMG. Rifles or carbines of any type do not seem to have been much issued.

Yes, I am. That's Floyd, who I sometimes think owns me. He was a bit of a change from the Senegal I used to have (one never let out a sound, the other one never shuts up). He's a very cool parrot anyway.
