I think I have a trailer with them on... however, if they are, you'd need to buy the trailer from me to get them... and that would work out at £125 each on rims... and dont remember what condition they are in now.

If you draw a blank elsewhere and are stuck PM me and I will pop down to the farm to check... however wont be for a few weeks.

Closest new tyres I can find from a quick search are 7.50 X 10 pneumatic forklift jobs from Eurotek Tyres. ( UK Tel 01502 532200 or Google them)

Finding proper 8.25 x 10 NDT Runflats as per original seems to be like looking for the Holy Grail.... there have been many enquiries on the MLU forum over the years.

Did Firestone ever make these? If so, they will still have the moulds and would probably do another run..... for the right money.

Any tyre company is going to want a mimimum order of perhaps 200 tyres to do a production run, so I think you may be out of luck.

Even stocks of common sizes like 11.00 X 20 and 9.00 X 16 in British war-time pattern are preactically exhausted. A company called Mitas have the Dunlop molds if you are willing to buy a container load.

I've been using mule tyres on mine for years. They are one inch too short and will eventually wear oddly if you trail the gun on the road. Ours has been all over Eastern Ontario without a complaint and has probably got well over 1000 km on it. We are now looking at replacing them so are in the same boat as you are. May go for mule tyres again as we have had ten good years out of them.

An alternate is farm tractor fronts (9.00X10 three rib). take a look at www.millertire.com out of Ohio.

There is a 19.5/8.25X10 4 ply R-1 BAR LUG (LAWN & GARDEN TIRE) listed on this site http://www.tirewholesalers.net/products/index.php Their stock number LG 04255.

I don't know if they are of any use or if they will fit the rims, obviously they are not NTD.

Well, keep fingers crossed, I may have found four of them. Original firestones with canadian broad arrows on them.

Well I found four tyres. Original firestone Canadian broad arrow proofed. Also got three rims to boot.
I'm using two tyres and keeping one spare rim, which leaves me two rims and two tyres to sell.

Any 6 Pounder bods need a set. Condition of the tyres is Ok to good.

No idea if the rim is correct for 6pdr.

Am asking £250 for the lot - however, they are attached to a trailer.

One of the tyres is 1942 dated.

8.25x10... Really?! I had know idea, I'd have said they were larger but there you go, such is ignorant perception

I must admit I am not a little jealous of you guys, the 6 is one of the best bits of WW2 ordnance I know. Well done.

If I dont sell the trailer it will go for scrap, so will be lifting the wheels off when it goes... so always an option to take them to Holland if noone else wants to buy them... ask me in a few months.
