I'm hoping someone can help me translate this paybook I've just got - apart from the fact he was in the LAD (Light Aid Detachment I'm assuming) of the 2nd Brigade I'm not sure of anything else - I know there are some Greeks on here so fingers crossed.

Cheers

Alistair

Your assume is right.
He was a mechanic and finished elementary school.
I assume he was from Egypt as it is written that he speaks Arabic and French and his address is in Alexandria.
Then some information about vaccines he took and his health condition , it is written that he suffers from disturbing headaches.
Then informations about his service , leaves he took and when he was named corporal.Looks like he was all his time in Egypt.
Hope it helps, if anything else just ask!
