According to the very few stuff ive seen, they appear to use a type of the british SD uniform, both tunic and trousers, as well as boots and putees

From an old Blandford Colour book, Army Uniforms of WW2, By Andrew Mollo & Malcolm McGregor (ISBN 0 7137 0611 2). The illustrations are taken from actual photos, so that guy is around somewhere.....

wonderful, many thanks,
where did you get it from? and any chance of uploading pictures? i was looking for images of greek soldiers in crete, 1941, as I supposed they would be more disorganized than when they fought on the contintent, plus the hot weather would make them throw such things (these are my thoughts)as the coat cape or those boots

Hello Rob. :D :D 8) 8)

I Think you are Right But Unfortunatly i Know only the Russian Helmet who Looks Like the Swiss M18 they look from my point of view more similar. The Parental Helmet For the Greek Model 38 Helmet was The Italian M33 and when i Can Remember Most of the Greek Helmets was Produced in Italy who Knows that 2xYears Later The Greek Army Use Then In Fighting The Italians .But I Was not the Only Helmet in greek use even The British Mk1-2
was in Use and The Rural Police Use The French Adrian.

A real mix then!!
They were a very good military beating the huge italian army, using no Tanks, Artillery, Planes or naval support.....
There fight should be admired....and if the germans hadent interveend (which would never had happen if Bulgaria had join the Balkans pact) they would have most probably would have beaten the Italians, Driven them into the Adriactic and taken Albania
Who knows??
Regards Rob

Italy had 40X Milion Citizens in .1940. and Colonies (Ressources) Greece had 7 1/2 Milions Citizens in .1940.Italy Had Fiat-Spada-Oto-Melara-Fant -Large Arms Factories .Greece not it must Be Imported all but one thing the Italians don,t have even with their giant Arms Factories .ThePower of the Heart and the Justification to Fight an Invader Maybe you re were not Good Equipped Maybe you Re Rifle or weapon is Old but when you Know the Terrain + A great Portion of Selfconfidence and Hate against the Invader Unequally what he is ( Mongolian-Siberian-What Ever) can Help you to bring him Down or to Teach the Enemy a Very Hard Lesson .
