Mike and Andy,

The cap badge has a red Rectangle made in felt behind the Lion motif. This appears on both the Khaki and Grigio-Verde Berets

Its a Tent! Its a Poncho! Its a Ground Sheet! Its a Camouflage against the enemy. My word, its even a waterproof sleeping bag! It is not, however, German.

M33 Elmetto. Good against shrapnel. Great for grinding coffee. For that superb sweat encrusted taste.[/size]

Just had some RM webbing delivered from Italy (via Ebay). Looks great. Has belt, shoulder straps, two pouches (long thin ones that look like shotgun pouches) and a pistol holster. Snap buttons are marked - R Marina.

Any news about i basci, Neil?

Just the boots and shorts to go. :)

I have been thinking about doing a San Marco / X Mas, and found these. I have been told that they are Italian and was wondering if they would work for the impression?

I think someones already answered this on the CS forum. They have a British look about them, or are post war Italian.
