:) Need to get some shorts and boots. Still it was windy in the morning, personal freedoms and all that.

Many thanks to everyone for their encouragement, help and advice, it was a great pleasure spending the time with you all on Monday. Many more of these days to come I hope.

Sotto le insegne del leone alato.

Mike.

Telo Tenda Mimetico Modello 1929. Keeping Farbs dry at night since 1978

Its a Tent! Its a Poncho! Its a Ground Sheet! Its a Camouflage against the enemy. My word, its even a waterproof sleeping bag! It is not, however, German.

M33 Elmetto. Good against shrapnel. Great for grinding coffee. For that superb sweat encrusted taste.[/size]

Anyone know where you can pick up some nice quality sand coloured fabric that would be suitable for making a San Marco desert sailor shirt.
I have an original but its small, size 38" and my wife has offered to produce a 40/42" copy for me.

Also any blueprints for replicating those long gaiters?
