Love this picture. This was whilst the Light Rescue Crew were awaiting the message from one of the wardens about the trapped people in the bombed house. Not paying any attention to the news ony he back about Hitler, we'd found a nice article about Joan Crawford in the bath....!

Some good pic's there of the Home front Village which i thought was very well put together . Just a shame a couple show woman dressed as men in the battle!.
