I managed to pick up a copy of 'Robert Capa The Definitive Collection' by Richard Whelan ..

570+ pages of his pictures covering just about all his working life .. its soft back and was £5 in a charity shop, not bad when you consider it goes for around £30 on Amazon etc, would like the hard back but at over £200 a time not something I will be getting real soon .. !!

Intermingled with the war pictures are others of Hemingway, Steinbeck, Picasso, John Huston, Ingrid Bergman and Gary Cooper.

Very interesting pictures, all of them, not surprising perhaps when at one point Picture Post described him as the greatest war photographer of all time (at the time).

Nice...I've got the same one in the bookcase at well, not at that fantastic price though ;)

"The Mexican Suitcase" is the other one to look out for with the work of Capa, Taro and another photographer during the Spanish Civil War.
the set pops up at cheap prices every once in a while. I got it on sale through Amazon UK a while back.

I recently picked up "Entering Germany" by Tony Vaccaro for a few euros through a charity shop.
And just ordered "Scatti Di Guerra" with work by Vaccaro and Lee Miller in it. (It's not the "Shots of War" edition I wanted...but still).

Great research material ;)
