I'm not an expert on American stuff, but the photos look excellent.

How does it feel to fly the Stars n Stripes in the Motherland? ;-)

Don't want to seem like I'm criticising, the pictures are great ... but that is a modern monorail camera surely... not a 1940's Speed Graphic ... or is it not the camera you took the pictures with ..??

Hi .. thanks for that ... I had never realised that a monorail design was so old ... we do learn something new everyday it seems as I had always assumed the monorail camera to be 'modern', circa 1960's .. Interesting although I still have to point out if I may that researching it the Graphic View II wasn't around until 1949 ...

The Crown View was produced around 1938 to 1942 but that was a standard flatbed view camera ... the Graphic view came out as a monorail in 1941, the Graphic View II in 1949 as I say ... again, Im not picking holes or criticising, just observational comment from a fellow photog.
