I had a go at colourising a photo from a negative scan, I'm really happy with the effect but would love some opinions.

What is the pixelated line down his forehead ..?? its on the b & w picture too, looks very odd .....
Like the color effect though, well done on that.

Thanks :D It's actually a strand of hair, unfortunately when flickr compressed the image, there has been some slight pixel damage.

They look very good. Reminds me a lot of colorized combat reels you see in the documentaries.

I've a couple of hand tinted photos from the period - all of family members and the effect is spot on, skipper :) Magnificent work as ever - I'll be green with envy ... when I can tint the photo :D :D :D
