Great video, great photographs and another superb display by 2nd Armored, very much the 'Gold standard' for U.S. reenactment. Everything from the biggest bit of kit all the way down to the smallest detail is right, fantastic.

"Smallest detail" being jaunty angle guys? ... And just a quick glance, a fleeting one, but that 70 year old 10in1 looks like the post War version dropped during the Berlin thing (I know, I made same mistake also) .... :  roll:

Great effort though, and looks good :D

Strange, they only post in my threads when it's controversial, seems they want to vent their spleens whilst claiming victimhood ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEwVpWFyy3M

They scoffed and told us to get a life. These are the same people today, unsurprisingly, who are stridently arguing for curtailment of free speech not to offend Muslims."

I know mate, mines is '44, doesn't mean they where issued (primarily in Europe, maybe the PTO, but I doubt it - remember, it could have been produced in December 44, only a 5 months till War in Europe ends, and from my own research, even early War K rations where used through to Korea, there where that many produced), after some research on mines, it transpired they where used to feed Europe's displaced persons (millions of them) and the unsleeved box (which mines is, being printed on the sides, instead of the end) seems to be the ones observed being dropped in a propaganda film Post War I remember observing not so long after me and Phil got a few dozen boxes reproduced  :D
